A Champion Once Again!

East Brunswick’s Heather O’Reilly added to her incredible soccer resume last night with a National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) championship when her Kansas City Attack team defeated the Seattle Reign, 1-0, in the league title game. Heather assisted on the game-winning goal, sending a perfect cross from the left flank to Amy Rodriguez, who headed the ball past Seattle keeper Hope Solo for the game’s only goal.

Heather, who played her youth soccer for the East Brunswick Soccer Club, has won championships at every level – NJ State Cup with the EBSC Dynamite, NJ high school championship with East Brunswick High School, collegiate championship at North Carolina, Olympics, The World Cup and US women’s professional soccer.
