EBSC Night at Rutgers women's soccer to feature honor for O'Reilly
October 3, 2008
EBSC Youth Night at the Rutgers women's soccer on Friday night, Oct. 3rd just got even more exciting. Not only will the Rutgers women host Pittsburgh, beginning at 7 p.m. at Yurcak Field in Piscataway, but EBSC alum Heather O'Reilly, fresh from the US Women's National Team's gold medal performance in Beijing, will receive a special presentation from Rutgers coach Glenn Crooks before the game.
In addition to watching an exciting Big East Conference soccer game, EBSC players -- both girls and boys -- will have the opportunity to come down on the field and meet the Rutgers players. Other activities are also planned, so more details will follow.
The East Brunswick connection at Rutgers is strong, as Crooks, the team's head coach, is a local resident and junior forward Kristie Lang is a product of the EBSC and East Brunswick High School.
The game is free to all EBSC players and coaches. EBSC coaches should fax their team rosters to Rose Bizup at 732-445-8343 to ensure free admission to the game.
Contact EBSC’s Ray Kelly, our Rutgers women’s soccer liaison, for more information.
